With the passage and signing into law of the Reimagine Public Safety Act, which seeks to address gun violence in Illinois, the state’s Department of Human Services Office of Firearm Violence Prevention (OFVP) and Office of Community and Positive Youth Development (OCPYD) are now seeking applicants to provide training, technical assistance, and support to organizations that will provide violence prevention or youth development services in eligible Chicago community areas.
