The application window is now open for Payroll Protection Program (PPP) loans for businesses with 20 or less employees and for sole proprietors. In an effort to help Illinois’ smallest of businesses, applicants that meet the program criteria are the only ones allowed to apply through March 10th.
“Illinois small businesses, including those in the 33rd District, have been disproportionately affected by the economic downturn tied to COVID-19,” said State Senator Don DeWitte (R-St. Charles). “With new PPP loan funds available, I would encourage business owners with 20 employees or less and sole proprietors to take advantage of the two-week window.”
