Governor Signs Executive Orders for Modified Stay at Home Order

Yesterday, the Governor signed two new executive orders which extended his stay at home order through May 29 with some modifications.

EO 2020-32 officially extended the Governor’s stay at home order through the month of May.

EO 2020-33 extended all prior executive orders, including amendments to allow for:

  • The suspension of in person meetings under the IL Finance Authority Act and the Concealed Cary Licensing Review Board
  • Overnight mail of documents to be notarized;
  • Inclusion of Supportive Living Facilities and Assisted Living establishments as health care facilities for purposes of immunity from civil liability; and
  • Inclusion of residential premises where law enforcement must cease enforcement of eviction orders
