As small businesses across the state continue to feel the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis, new assistance measures have been put in place to provide relief to Illinois’ small-business community.
The State has received its statewide Economic Injury Declaration, which means small businesses in all 102 Illinois counties may be eligible for low-interest, economic injury disaster loans up to $2 million per business.
Businesses can access additional information and apply for the loan online here.
Furthermore, business advisers at the Illinois Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) are remotely available to assist small businesses with the loan application process. Businesses can locate their nearest Small Business Development Center here.
Additionally, the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity is encouraging small businesses to fill out this form. This form will help them better understand the needs of companies throughout the state and will add your business to their information distribution list.
